CHILLY CHICKEN | SPICY | ANDHRA STYLE | RAYALASEEMA STYLE
Hello Guys,
It's raining outside and do you like to have mouth watery spicy chicken with a chilled B**r, then let's go with "Andhra Style chilly chicken ".
What's required: Some patience to cook ๐
For Green Masala paste -
- 10-12 Chillis
- 10-12 Garlic cloves
- 2-inch Ginger pieces or 2-3 tablespoon Ginger garlic paste
- Coriander leaves
- Pudina/Mint leaves
For Marinating -
- 1-2 onion (Chopped)
- 1 tablespoon Oil
- Cumin
- 3-4 cardamom and 5-6 cloves
- 1 Biryani leaf
- 6-8 Curry leaves,
- Salt, as needed
- Half Kg chicken
PREP ๐
- To begin making the Andhra Style Green Chilly Chicken recipe, wash chicken and strain the water, salt and lemon nicely and keep it aside 30-45mins.
- Meanwhile prepare the green masala by grinding chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and ginger garlic. Set aside. (Refer to above sec - green masala paste)
- Heat oil in a nonstick pan and add few cumin, 3-4 cardamom, 5-6 cloves, curry leaves, chopped onions and green chilies and fry them until they turn brown color. Be patient as said and keep the stove in low-medium flame ๐
- Add the marinaded chicken and fry well for 2-3 mins in high flame so that all the water gets absorbed.
- Now add coriander powder, salt (as required), eastern Chicken masala powder (for good smell and taste).
- Add chilly powder (Optional)
- Now add green masala paste which is prepared earlier (step 2), till the moisture evaporates and the chicken is tender and nicely cooked (close the lid) for 5-6mins.
- Add water as required.
- Season with salt as needed and add some more fresh chopped green coriander on top. Turn off the heat and serve hot.

- Overall, it takes around 15-20mins to prepare this dish ๐
